On December 28th I received a letter from a company demanding payment for a random image I put on my blog years ago (before it was even associated with a business). That day, I deleted that post, and then went through all of my blog posts and deleted any image that could possibly cause any issue. Most of these were free stock images (as was the case with the image in question, or so I thought), but I deleted all of them nonetheless.
On January 2, 2020, I settled with the company for past use of an image that a company held the copyright to.
I bring this up because if you go back and read old posts, they may reference images / memes / infographics that no longer exist. This is why.
